The Infinity Box

The mirrored walls of the Infinity Box reflect a spectacular and seemingly endless architectural jungle. Playing with spatial illusion, the clean design multiplies and expands the vista into infinity.

Large oaks that had fallen across the estate have been used to create the striking wooden planters. Tropical plants grown within Borde Hill’s glass houses have been relocated and positioned to complement and draw upon the lofty palms and foliage in the surrounding gardens.

The garden within the Infinity Box is a permanent installation at Borde Hill Gardens, designed by Jade Goto.

The Botanical Studio Garden

Silver- Gilt medal. Hampton Court Flower Show 2016

Designed by Jade Goto for Crabtree & Evelyn, The Botanical Studio Garden allows the naturally curious to discover a fragrant experience that goes beyond the visual joy of plants and flowers.

The garden is planted in tiers to represent the base, heart and top notes of the classic perfume structure.

The striking mono-planting of each species is evocative of the expansive and singular planted perfume fields of Grasse, Provence. Within these raised planters the simplicity, fragrance and beauty of the single ingredient is celebrated.

At the heart of the garden is The Botanical Studio; a modern day “Still Room” constructed from glass. Here the perfumer can be seen practicing her art whilst transforming nature’s abundance into beautifying riches.

Airbox

The Airbox™ is the new launch from Jade Goto Studios. The design concept was developed whilst thinking around how to provide greening solutions for urban dwellers with limited or no outside space. The low maintenance yet high aesthetic value of Airplants (Tillandsia) made them the perfect plants to design a space for…. and so the Airbox was born.

With Airplant displays becoming more and more popular we saw a gap in the market for a simple, clean, contemporary design in which to display these beautiful plants.
